The Kitchen Theatre Company was created in 1991, as a place for talented and determined young artists to collaborate and hone their craft. Today, the company is proud to be voted “Ithaca’s Best Cultural Asset” and remains committed to being an inclusive, diverse, and accessible space for artists and audiences. Audience members have called it a place for the heart and soul to be entertained, “where one can get lost in deep thought or have a deep belly-laugh.” Its mission is to create bold theatre within an intimate space that engages the community and sparks important conversations.
